A progressive strength training class for all fitness levels that includes women-specific exercises to ensure you get faster results.

This class is designed for women who want to build strength and muscle. The class focuses on compound exercises that work multiple muscle groups at once. The exercises are progressive, meaning that the weight or resistance gradually increase as you get stronger. We place focus on proper form to help prevent injuries.

Our small group setting allows for personalised attention and support from Nic. Nic can provide individualised instruction and feedback, help track progress, and adjust your program as needed. We offer a safe space for women to work towards their fitness goals in a supportive and encouraging environment.

If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding way to improve your strength and fitness, then this class is for you.

What to expect for your first STRONG class

Arriving 5 minutes early to class allows you to set up your equipment and be ready for the warm-up, which helps you prepare your body for exercise and reduce your risk of injury.

A warm up: The class starts with a 4-minute warm-up to prepare your body for exercise. This may include some light cardio and dynamic stretches.

Strength training exercises: The main part of the class will focus on strength training exercises using a variety of equipment including free weights, barbells, resistance bands, medicine balls and suspension trainers to challenge your muscles. New strength programs begin every 5-6 weeks, depending on duration of the school term. At the start of each new program, Nic will demonstrate the correct techniques for all exercises. If you need help with technique or have any limitations, Nic will be on hand to provide you with alternatives.

Cool-down: The class will end with a cool-down to help your body recover. This may include some static stretches and light cardio.
